Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) refers to the traditional analog voice service delivered over copper wiring an infrastructure that has served as the foundation of telecommunications for more than a century. However, maintaining these aging copper networks has become increasingly expensive for the phone companies. As a result, telecom carriers are significantly raising rates, often to unsustainable levels, and are actively decommissioning the central offices that support POTS lines.
Cloud Uber, LLC has helped customers move off the copper infrastructure to different platforms since 2019. We have simplified this complex process, developed processes and procedures to identify all their POTS phone numbers, help determine what each phone number is being used for and then project manage the entire transition to a better more efficient cost saving solution. This process can look different for each customer.
